Walver Lake
Walver Lake is a pleasant, middle-class suburban area located on the northwest side of Widdlington. It emerged in the late 1950s as part of a suburban development project aimed at providing affordable housing options for families, particularly American immigrants. The district's design reflects typical American suburbs, especially on the western side, bordering the Warwyck Forest, where neighborhoods like Willowdale and Wayngel Grove offer a relaxed atmosphere. Wilicon Valley, home to tech companies such as Woogle, Wavetech Innovations, and WebStream Solutions, adds a modern touch.
Additionally, Westbrook, located near the river, offers a more traditional British suburban feel with quaint streets and smaller homes. The district blends American-style development with British charm, making Walver Lake a diverse and appealing area to live.
Named after the idyllic Walver Lake, situated within Walver Lake Park, this area serves as a focal point for community activities. The district also hosts Widdlington FM Radio and Waldmart, Widdlington's only supermarket, making it a convenient and vibrant place to live.
Willowbrook: This neighboring district features traditional British suburban architecture with brick houses and well-tended gardens. Its friendly atmosphere makes it a welcoming place for families and long-term residents, offering a contrast to the more American-influenced areas of Walver Lake.
