Ermintrude "Ermie" Maine-Anjou Slayer is Harris Travers' long-time personal assistant and has become a notable supporting character in the Waldoverse.

Physical Description:

Ermintrude is a young woman in her 20s, distinguished by her rose-colored eyes and short red hair. She is particularly well-known for her considerably large chest.

Background, Personality, and Career:

Originally known as "Cow Girl," Ermintrude was brought into the Waldoverse from the Goblin Slayer universe by Ed. There, she was a farmer and childhood friend of The Goblin Slayer. She made her debut in Widdlington as Waldo's new fiancée after his marriage to Mayuri Shiina ended. However, Harris Travers quickly noticed her and immediately hired her as the new receptionist at Travers, Travers, and Shiina. Since then, she has remained a loyal, patient, and unwavering assistant to Travers as he transitioned from one role to another.

Ermintrude is a calm and good-natured character with the patience of a saint. Despite Travers' frequent exploitation of her striking figure—often treating her as mere "eye candy"—Ermintrude remains committed and supportive. She gets along well with everyone she meets and rarely speaks ill of anyone, though she can be somewhat naive. Her striking attractiveness and air of innocent obliviousness often make her the subject of subtle mockery or condescension from those who think she’s all boobs and no brains. She tends to miss the underlying sarcasm or patronizing tone in people’s comments, accepting them at face value with sincere gratitude.

Ermintrude has demonstrated her versatility and commitment by advancing into a significant political role. Having previously served as a political correspondent and secretary at The Waldopolis Chronicle, as well as one of its popular Page 3 models, she now steps into the position of Press Secretary in Harris Travers' administration. Her new role allows her to combine her charm, intelligence, and media experience, providing a direct and dynamic voice for Travers while continuing to showcase her loyalty and adaptability in navigating the demands of political communication.

Ermintrude is also a fan of cheese and enjoys cooking and writing in her spare time.

Notable Relationships:

• Goblin Slayer: An experienced silver-ranked Adventurer primarily focused on hunting Goblins, Goblin Slayer is now Ermintrude's husband. After making his way to the Waldoverse (with Ed's assistance) to track down his childhood friend, Goblin Slayer was shocked to find her employed by a goblin, Harris Travers, and that she had previously been engaged to Widdle Frunkut. Known for his genocidal hatred of goblins in his own realm, Goblin Slayer initially found this difficult to accept but eventually came to terms with the situation. After the turbulent "Nilbog Arc" in Widdlington, he married Ermintrude and now serves as the head of Queen Mayuri's royal guard.

• Harris Travers: Her long-time employer. Despite his sleazy antics, is seen by Ermintrude as a good goblin man who has provided her with opportunities she greatly appreciates. In return, she offers him unwavering loyalty.

• Widdle Frunkut: Ermintrude was engaged to WF for a brief period. During their engagement, she brought a touch of charm to his (literal) dumpster of a home. However, WF lost interest in her around the time she became Travers' receptionist and went off to find a new fiancée.
• Mayuri Shiina: As a former employer at Travers, Travers, and Shiina, Mayuri has much in common with Ermintrude, leading to a strong friendship between them. Travers and Mayuri even allowed Ermintrude and her new husband, Goblin Slayer, to live with them for a time.

• Master Devlin: A friend, co-worker and supportive figure.
